Working with Claire was my first introduction to counselling and I, as anyone would be,
was initially nervous and apprehensive. Claire was professional and informative and made
me feel comfortable from an early stage in our sessions. Claire quickly identified my
learning style and adapted her sessions to best fit me.
We worked together for a year and in this time Claire helped me learn techniques and
concepts that ultimately allowed me to gain new perspectives and work through
challenges. Claire made the entire process as welcoming as possible and offered the
support and tools I needed to overcome many of the challenges I had came to her with and
more. I couldn't be more grateful for Claire and the service she provided, ensuring I
received the support I needed to help me through a difficult time and most of all the
knowledge to carry on forward for any more challenges I may face. I will not hesitate to
come to Claire again if I ever needed and I would recommend her services to anyone
seeking help.
From working with Claire to understand and live with my anxieties she guided me to
realise that I need to do things I want to do as well as what I need to do.
She has given me confidence to be comfortable with just being myself, for letting things
go and for not being a “one-man-band.” I feel that my mental health is the best that it
has been in a very long time, and that is down to Claire’s patience and abilities especially when I tried to deflect 🙂. Can’t thank her enough for helping me discover how
I want to be.
