Aurora Counselling offers sessions to individuals over 16. These sessions are one to one.
The first session is a chance for us to meet, to explore your needs, your goals and an opportunity for you to ask questions. It is a chance to see if we can work together. We can then agree a regular time to meet. For counselling to be effective you have to be ready and willing to commit. You are under no obligation to proceed.
Everything that is discussed is confidential. However, if I believe there is a risk of harm to you, or others, it may be necessary to break confidentiality. Should this situation arise I would, where possible discuss my concerns with you first. As a member of COSCA I am obliged to attend regular supervision. Casework taken to supervision is minimal, confidential and anonymised. Privacy Policy
